I am Evelin. In production terms I am a ‘made in Italy’ and ‘assembled in the UK’! 

Having lived in both of these culturally distinct countries, I have directly witnessed and experienced Italy’s fashion sense and the practicality that the UK offers. As a child and throughout my upbringing, I have always had an innate passion for fashion and creativity. I would often alter garments to enhance their functionality and longevity. Even though life took me through many years working in a completely different industry, the fashion and the creativity have never left me and few years ago, treasuring all the acquired skills over the past decades, I decided to start sampling some of my designs. Wear Evelin was born. 

The Wear Evelin designs always prioritize two main elements: functionality and attractiveness. Who said that you have to be either smart or good looking, for example, when you can be both?! We come in many shapes and forms and are all special in our own way and I believe that if we feel good and attractive in what we wear or use and if what we wear or use is practical and can be used in different ways, our daily life runs smoothly and we can better focus on other things. Our products feature removable sleeves, reversible designs, and 2-in-1 capabilities, allowing customers to customize their look and maximize the utility of their clothing. The Wear Evelin designs are timeless and versatile, they might have some details that enhance certain body areas to boost confidence or there might be that accessory that helps making life easier! Feeling good and being practical is truly empowering! 

But functional without sustainable was certainly not my goal. 

Deep down the need of functionality, lies the sustainability. Creating quality functional items that are timeless designs and can be used over time and in different occasions is already clearly a sustainable approach without even trying. So this is when I decided I could do more. I am not a fan of producing in high quantities and wanted to implement an innovative and sustainable manufacturing process. Finding manufacturers that shared this value with me has of course been a challenging task, but not an impossible one and I am indeed happy to say that in the aim of helping reduce over production in fashion and minimise waste, Wear Evelin only produces in small quantities and often via pre-order windows which means I only produce what I know is going to sell. 

With an Italian background and a British attitude, I hope the Wear Evelin’s collections will bring a splash of these two fascinating and practical countries to your daily lives and with high quality materials, unique yet timeless designs and our pre-order business model we hope to bring you with us on our sustainability journey.
